Length of Service: With The CFPAF Since Inception, October 2008
Why do you want to work for the Cystic Foundation Patient Assistance Foundation?
I was very excited to have the opportunity to be an integral part of the CFPAF’s launch in October, 2008. As a brand new program, I was able to help shape the program’s mission and processes, and to lead a very dedicated group of case managers, whose passion is to provide resources to the CF community.
Throughout my career, I have always been inspired and motivated by mission and service to others. For that reason, I was very drawn to joining the CF Patient Assistance Program. My background in social service, health insurance reimbursement, and administering patient assistance programs is a combination of experience that has made this role an excellent fit for me.
For Medications...
For CF Patients...
How do you see the importance of your role with the Cystic Fibrosis Patient Assistance Foundation?
I see my role primarily as one of ensuring my case managers have the tools they need to provide excellent service to our customers. We are here to partner with patients, families, care centers, and other providers to ensure that eligible patients receive co-pay assistance for their medication. Additionally, the CFPAF is here to identify any other resources that will help CF patients improve their quality of life. I am fortunate that I often speak directly to our customers, which helps me keep a pulse on their direct experience with the program. Ultimately, my role is to ensure that eligible patients and their families are provided co-pay assistance and/or are provided referrals to existing resources that meet their needs.
If you had one thing to say to our customers, what would that be?
We are here to help and to serve you. We always want you to feel that you have received excellent customer service from us and that we have considered your needs carefully and provided you with valuable resources and information best suited to your specific needs.
